FORGE Robotics 4421 is dedicated to more than just building robots—we build a better future through STEM advocacy, accessibility, and sustainable innovation.
Through CTV interviews, Beakerhead exhibitions, cultural centre showcases, and local festivals, we’ve brought FIRST to over half of Calgary's population. Our mission is simple: make robotics familiar, fun, and accessible to everyone.
FORGE is committed to making STEM accessible for every community. We’ve run engaging summer camps that spark curiosity in robotics and coding. This year, we’re proud to partner with IndigiTEAM to deliver a camp tailored for Indigenous families, ensuring representation and inclusion in STEM education.
With support from FIRST Canada grants, these programs are funded and sustainable, giving more youth the opportunity to discover their potential through innovation and teamwork.
We partnered with Renfrew Educational Services to adapt over 48 toys, saving families $7,000–10,000. Using basic engineering skills, 3D printing, and soldering, we made playtime more inclusive and joyful.
In 2024, we co-wrote and submitted a report proposing a universal points system to FIRST HQ, the Advisory Board, and Colin Fultz. Now, it's influencing policy changes for 87,000 students worldwide starting in 2026.
From training female mentors to leading all-girls coding camps and CNC workshops, FORGE is actively working to reduce gender gaps in engineering and robotics through inclusion and empowerment.
